why though when he doesn't need to? he's doing a more valuable job as head of the youth teams than he would doing anything with the first team.

Ferguson is mainly the striking coach so if him and unsworth swapped roles it'd make both of them useless.

ferguson done naff all under martinez. i want unsworth to have more responsibility with a view to taking over from koeman down the line.

If any of you fancy a laugh! @ijjysmith- get calling in lad!

This fella now, the former manager.

''Everton are planning to spend a lot of money on new players and are going to develop a stadium.....I can understand him leaving from that point of view''

Think if we get Dave Watson, the GK coach, massive indicator that Forster will want to move here.
He has him at England as well.

I don't rate Forster at all.

I wouldn't want him here and think we could do much better. He doesn't even make the top 10 keepers in this league IMO.

Without being disrespectful to you mate you have no idea what he done, because you aren't at finch farm or watching the training sessions.

He worked closely with Lukaku, who improved massively, and is highly rated as a coach by players and those in the game.

Stop trying to put martinez uselessness onto other people when there is no one to blame but him.

Unsworths value to us right now is bringing in potentially millions of pounds worth of talent through to the first team something which he has been doing brilliantly so far and it's not something we should seek to change at all, when something is producing talent, talent which is worth a lot of money, you do not change that.

As for Unsworth being a replacement for Koeman, Unsworth seems happy where he is and the set up he has right now, if he wants to prove his managerial status he will have to go to another club and do it there before being ready, and even if he doesn't right now he is a MANAGER of our youth team, handles some of the youth talent signings, and scouting for those players and manages his own little squad, if he was promoted to a first team coach he would do none of that so be even less ready to do anything managerial related.

Love this me, under moshiri we are just like if we want something we will get it. Up the toffees.
Yes, good post this. If we do get Koeman and it looks like we will, it's kinda like, 'what Mr Moshiri wants, Mr Moshiri gets', great stuff.

I hope he's a fan of Messi :/

Dave Merrington on Solent Radio told it straight. They are a small club, and Koeman wants to move to a bigger club with far higher ambitions. Not only that, we now have the financial means to do so.

Well I have to say Ive warmed to the idea of Ronald. He wasn't my first choice, but after thinking about it for a few days, he's definitely the safest and most realistic option. I wanted mourinho at first (was never going to happen) then switched my allegiance to Emery, no doubt a great manager, but could he replicate that success with us? maybe or maybe not but I don't think we're in the position to take that gamble.
So, I'm firmly behind the ginger Dutch fella, a new season with a new manager and a new owner, maybe some new faces as well. Yep,my optimism has risen after the last couple of years.
