to be honest, i've been thinking about it, and although i wanted a mourinho / emery, the more i think of it koeman is a very good appointment.

It's a massive step up from the previous appointments, a relegated manager in martinez, and taking a chance (even though it paid off) in a championship manager in moyes, we've went from that, to being able to go out there and pay 6m a year to a manager who as a player has done it all, and as a manager has done a fantastic job at southampton, under the circumstances. I don't think he's the best manager we could have gone for, but we did try with jose, and asked about emery but it's moshiris first proper choice, if he comes here and does well, we are in a fantastic position to replace him with a even higher quality manager when he leaves. It makes sense.

The fact we can go out there and take a manager who would of been in the europa league, and make him our man is a big turning point for everton.

NSNO starting to be on it's way back.

Agreed....but if Koeman does well there would be no need to replace him.

One thing a manager gets at Everton is time
