Because the deal is signed.

And as far as I'm aware they haven't claimed he's 'jetted off' anywhere. A holiday may simply mean he's taking time off, doesn't actually mean he's not in the country.

And if he is abroad, there's no massive rush. The announcement will be made when everything is wrapped up and there will either be a presser immediately or a few days after.

You are being paranoid though and it seems to be a massive trait of yours.

Every news article has said the clubs are finalising the compensation package and it should be done today or tomorrow. It Will be sorted but there's really no need to rush at all pre season is weeks away.

Just a hunch but wouldn't shock me if the club are waiting to get the DoF sorted and do a dual announcement/unveiling of them both at the same time, showing them as a team etc

If so then the latest Monchi rumours could be interesting as him and Koeman would make a formidable team together

If you were him and joining a new club would you really go on holiday again when it's a tournament summer and you have a lot of work to do? You'd think they'd want to go full throttle from the off.

As i said mate, maybe it's tied in with the club wanting a set date to do a dual DoF/Manager annoucement, so rather than stay around for however long getting pestered by the press, just take another short break before getting down to your new job

yeh maybe.

I'd imagine RK will be announced today or tomorrow though - as in on the website etc.

And then the first presser next week, perhaps with the DoF as well as a joint presser
