Ridiculous decision. It was an opportunity to remove a player, who's almost never fit to play, from the wage bill which would have helped with the FFP rules if there really is a £100 mill budget.
With sunshine Ronnie not being ar*ed enough to come back from holiday to sign his multi-million contract it's put a dampener on recent optimism. Hopefully he'll sign next week, while sporting a wicked tan, and the mood will pick up again.

Im saure between the wages ossie and hibbert will pick up with their minimal contracts, mcgeady, pienaar, kone, lukaku, we will have made a good reduction in wages.

Plus when it comes back to it we might not be at our ceiling anyway!

He isnt a premier league footballer anymore. hibbo and ossie can take up coaching on next to nothing contracts sure but pienaar aint worth keeping on his wages unless he takes a a massive cut, and even then i want better players.
