...remember the bloke who drove Gail et famille into the canal...nasty piece of work he was.

mind you, her family's turned out pretty horrible so he was probably just being prescient

I guess Gails face is how it is because she was under water so long, like when you've stayed in the bath and you wrinkled up, but her face just never went back.

I know this sounds Johnny Depp outlandish, but bear with me here lads : what if EFC is delaying the managerial appointment announcement so they can simultaneously announce a DoF appointment?

A name that has gone under the radar, but one which I feel might hold gravity, is that Sevilla bloke ....Ramon ( Monchi ...to his mates)

Probably a bit left-field, but just thought I'd throw it out there

I don't see why they would set such store in making the announcement of a new manager and DOF simultaneously.

I see no great advantage to waiting to annoint Ronald this long if the deal for the new manager is already signed.

In fact, I think it would have been far better to have announced the new managerial appointment this week and the DOF next week......to keep the good news items rolling on and the spotlight being shone positively on the club over two or more weeks.

Which leads me to worry a bit that the Koeman deal is not as set in stone as we are being led to believe it is.....not by the club it must be said because they are outdoing La Cosa Nostra when it comes or omertà.

But by the press.

In short......if this Ronald Koeman thingy goes tits up, I for one will not be surprised :(

@Groucho is the man you need to talk to. I believe it was he who first brought up this 'simultaneous announcement' gig
