So why are we paying him 6m a year?

I guess that's the premium we pay to get a top manager when we have no European football.

He's on holiday. How can he sign a contract when he is on a beach somewhere?

This is where I am confused. Has a contract actually been signed or not? Agree a deal, sign a contract, go on holiday, other issues are being sorted out (whatever they are), come back, announcement made....or has the contract still to be signed? Everton wouldn't take that risk, would they, in not having him sign up before his hols?

The possibility of getting him was never down to financial reasons. Obviously £6m a year tempts anyone, but my point is, he never turned Everton away as Southampton fans and Media seem to think.

Id imagine we had already agreed a deal with him through his agent, then obviously had to negotiate with Southampton. Can only assume the Club allowed him to jet off for a week.

How can he sign a contract if he's still contracted to another club.
This has nothing to do with him being on holiday.

Doubting that anyone actually is even slightly worried. ..just bored and abit angry cause of anxious waiting. Peeps thought that thing is properly done before the games.
