Yep, people have run out of things to say on the matter but haven't quite come to terms with it.

From what ive heard. His old agent told Everton Koeman wasn't interested in the job (Even though he was) and tried to give us De Boer instead. Koeman got wind of that & sacked him, got this Jansen fella in and got him to sort his move to Everton out which he has wanted ever since Roberto was sacked. His sole reasons for joining Everton is much much more than £100m transfer pot and £6m a year.

Actually, therein probably lies the truth of the matter.

He has a holiday arranged.

He signs the contract.

Official announcement delayed because in the first place he does not want the press hounding him and his family on the beach, looking for a quote.

And the club want to make the announcement when he is at a Goodison press conference and can in fact be pictured waving a scarf and EFC can indulge in all the razzmatazz that surrounds the appointment of a new guvnor

Why haven't Southampton announced he's left yet?
