aye he was first choice, not doubting that.

but again just merely suggesting this, we asked about him, got the cold shoulder. Then emery comes out and strikes an interest so we talk to him, before PSG come in and offer him a job so he then has to turn us down. Everton then go back to southampton and tell them they are prepared to meet the release clause and because in the first instance of being first choice , we can push that story still as it is still technically true,

Just speculating here, i mean if jose had picked the phone up would we still have got koeman?
 
This delay is a bit odd. The couple of shouts about potentially trying to line up a DOF to be announced at the same time may have some weight to it. The Club have not been rushed into anything so far in the manager search so its not out of keeping with the process so far to wait on the announcement, especially if they want to unveil a management team rather than just RK.

haha especially when the whole point of the DOF recruitment is that Koeman's job is solely the team.

Just stick some cones out then and pretend to coach them, you can stick it on flatter if you want like last time. What do you think we are paying you for? ....Oh and you live in that pod in there now, say goodbye to your wife for the next 3 years.

You can however sign a contract without having to start work that very day and hold up a scarf
 

1. For whatever reason, Koeman was Moshiri no.1 an only manager he wanted at Everton. He interviewed others, but there was only 1 man for him.

2. The fella is going to need a good holiday to deal with the meltdowns at Goodison when he loses the 1st game away at Burnley. We are intense [Poor language removed] an a u forgiving lot....
