I get that feeling too. Absolutely no reason for anyone to dwell on this. Everyone should just move on and focus on the future. In no ones best interests for this to get messy.

We both want to start preparing for next year. No reason to have that hanging around either of our necks.

And until we see evidence of this huge investment, I'm going to remain sceptical. All well and good saying we will spend 100+m but if half if that is from player sales then are we much better off?

To be fair, he more or less admitted he was a saints fan in his reply to me.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. He's been outed. He can either stay and get involved or he can leave.

I get what you are saying and I doubt this will come to play out.
But to suggest we wouldn't have the money is a bit ignorant

forgetting the new TV deal, our owner is worth over £3bn. Just we dont go down the route of throwing cash around. FFP etc
