Genuine question and 100% not a piss-take, why do you think it's daft to sack him now? From my perspective, him in charge is the worse case scenario, but I realize I'm not necessarily thinking rationally? What's the argument for him staying for the semi?
Because palpably the only thing he is any good at is cup wins
Sack him 3 days before a semi final no matter who comes in the chaos will be worse
Okay the semi
Then let him go

Short-term..ie for Saturday..I'd bring Royle in just to give teamtalk and motivate players..nobody better and he knows Everton inside out...nothing to lose doing that

For the rest of the season it doesn't really matter...put Dunc/Unsy in as caretaker to see this abortion of a season out..then it's time for the new man(Moshiri) to show us what ambition he has and bring in someone worthy of taking this club forward.
Who? No idea..but not another easy-fit...find a winner ffs

Put Royle in charge with Undsworth

On saturday get Connely, Davies, Williams and Dowell into the squad and give at least 2 of them starts, Baines and Barkley in the squad and we would see a massive improvement in the effort the team put out at the very least

Actually the more I look into Garcia the more keen on the idea I am. Likes his teams to play a pacey and confident passing game while remaining solid and tight at the back. Emphasises grit and passion. Won the double in France, came second twice (to Juve) in Italy before being effed over by Roma buying totally the wrong players for him to use. Is free.

The Express are saying we want Pellegrini

Manuel Pellegrini is in the frame to replace Roberto Martinez at Everton
Roberto Martinez is under increasing pressure at Everton with fans turning against the Spaniard.

Martinez is just 3/1 to leave Everton after their 4-0 Merseyside derby hammering to bitter rivals Liverpool last night.

David Moyes is the bookmakers' favourite (4/1) to replace the 42-year-old at Goodison Park.

But Argentinian coach Marco Bielsa (6/1) and Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini (10/1) are also frontrunners with Ladbrokes.

And according to Chilean publication CDF.CL, Everton's new billionaire owner Moshiri is 'really interested' in hiring Pellegrini.

The Chilean boss will leave City at the end of the season, with Pep Guardiola taking over.

Pellegrini wants to remain in the Premier League and was touted as a Chelsea target before Antonio Conte took that job.

The 62-year-old's representative Jesus Martinez has said: "Manuel is happy in English football, he would like to stay in the Premier League."

It is claimed Southampton are also interested in Pellegrini, but may struggle to meet his wage demands.

I don't want a manager who is on the first steps of his managerial career and still has nothing concrete won. Equally I do not want a manager who is at the veteran stage of their career. I think managers like Bielsa and Pellegrini are too old , I think we need someone aged between 45-55 experienced but still with the ambition and drive to want to make a name for themselves at a club like Everton.

We have a wealthy new owner, we are told he is ambitious and has ambitions for the club. We know there is huge money flowing into football and we know we have talented players at the club who will either stay or leave and leave behind them a huge transfer war chest.

No more apprentices or old men, we now want the best.

Question for you folks. Who do you realistically think will *actually* be Everton manager come next season? Looking away momentarily from who we all really want in the role, who do we think is most likely to have it come August?

Just curious to see everyone's thoughts on this.
