Gerardo Martino (Former Barca manager who now manages Argentina) anyone? Apparently plays high-pressing tiki-taka attacking football, and is good with young players.

Best mates with Messi as well.

Honestly mate, why would this matter in any shape or form?
Are we suddenly going to sign him or is there something that I've completely missed the boat on that makes this of crucial importance?

I'm just worried we won't be able to attract the likes of Mourinho, De Boer, Pellegrini.

We'd have to make a Brendan Rodgers-like appointment which would be a fatal signal to Lukaku and co.

Spoke to a mate who is a spurs fan yday about AVB.
In short, he was the fall guy for Baldini spunking all that money on players he didn't even want.
Says the style of football isn't as flamboyant or attractive as other managers but the team was always disciplined.

Surely worth a punt?

He's my choice. I think it's important to bring someone in who is currently winning trophies and would expect to continue that. His win record at Spurs was pretty impressive too.
