I don't get this, I can understand the sentiment of wanting someone who has won I don't know some cup or league, but your talking a small pool of transient mangers, that coach the first team in the main, we need a long term club manager.

What are we asking a new manager to do, bloody the nose of higher placed clubs - Eddie Howe has done that, relatively speaking if he did at Everton we're assailing the CL and being compeitive for trophies.

I think he deserves to be an option, more so then some I've seen here.
A successful first team is the main thing - especially if we have plans for a new stadium - and to attract even better players - setting up the U21s and the rest shouldn't be part of the first team coach decision.

Walker was the bright young thing, took an unfashionable club way higher than Howe has, bloodied the nose of Bayern Munich, let alone a Spurs or Chelsea.

Turned to jelly at a proper football club. Howe also wet his pants at Burnley. Like I said, he might turn out to be mustard. Just dont want us to be the test tube he boils to see if he will be.

Me? Jose.

I get you mate, highly rated managers at unfashionable clubs, Walkers success at Norwich is a bit of a myth to me, they were already a PL club and We're on top once or twice early season, they did relatively well I suppose pre CL years, Sutton was a good player. I forgot they beat Bayern away, but if I remember gore toy there keeper had a stormer.

Still think it's an unfair comparison, what they have in common was they are rated managers at traditionally poor clubs, surely that's how you get the opportunity to go to a bigger club.

Who do fancy mate if you had to pick one?

It always has been mate, well apart from the smith era when we binned the underage teams, the players we lost FFs.

I'm interested in that opinion mate, what model would you go for and why? It's a departure from I suppose our historical culture.

That Watched Toffee lid is saying AVB is on the shortlist, and Moyes wants Dyche, Moyes and Tim Sherwood. I highly doubt this is true.

Later, someone asked what he was on apart from glue - WT replied "your mum". Think that tells you everything you need to know about him.
He's about as sourced as my cat, and I've asked my cat what he knows and he just started cleaning his privates.
