You can try divert away from how poor your argument by claiming I'm "fluffing" things all you want, but your argument remains poor.

As for Liverpool "needing" a manager. They didn't did they, they had been talking to klopp.. they wanted klopp.. And they got him, the best manager available on the market at that time.

Klopp has more of a reputation as a manager than de boer.. that does not mean de boer wouldn't be good enough for us which was my point.

We can agree to disagree though mate.
wind it in lad ffs... don't you ever get bored of chatting wham

sorry mods............... I want Mancini if I have a choice

When he turned them down? Yeah, they got Rodgers and there was no need to get a new manager then, role had been. Since then he's won titles and elevated himself as a manager but now has the desire to manage over here.

Same owners in 2012 as they do now as well. Ian Ayre was still running the show.

Previous player and now doing well in the managerial world. Doesn't take much to connect the dots.

Pointless talking about it if you're stuck in the past and want Moyes back really.

Oh, soz, I forgot about the dots.

I just find it laughable that some people go all up in arms about "news" outlets randomly linking players/managers to clubs without any cause, but then when it suits a particular narrative, it is all good, so long as it backs them up.

You're right. I'm signing up to twitter to follow that @barcastuff

I wouldn't, it doesn't fit your style, they see multiples options to manage their club, just not two.

Yeah, so again, made up.

Like Moyes being linked with the potential job here just because of a past association.

Except that's what Barca do when they hire managers. It's their culture.

If his names mentioned on a regular basis when the position is open then surely the interest is there. I'm not proclaiming to be sauced here, just making an educated guess thanks to seeing the same thing happen each time the Barcelona job comes available.

Moyes is mentioned with us because of how we're viewed in the media and in this country. Listen to Esk's call into Five Live, it's a pat on the head and more or less "Well Moyes is the easy choice, get him back." I watched a video of Arsenal fans a week ago telling an Everton fan that Moyes would be a good choice because of his past association and realistically, he's our best choice because of our stature.

The whole nature of how we're viewed resonates with the public and how we're meant to view new managers. We were told Martinez would be great and just needed a better squad than Wigan. We were told Brendan Rodgers was a tactical genius 6 months before he was sacked by Liverpool.

If we're targeting bottom of the barrel and going back to a previous manager, why are we bothering?

That is the problem I have with this all. Stating the Barca have considered him based on that is all hypothetical. We have no way of knowing if there is something concrete there or not, so trotting it out like Barca have considered him as a reason for or against him is tenuous at best, and not the basis of an argument.

Ignore button Is there for a reason

If you don't like what I say, use it.

I don't particularly care what you have to say.

So I'll use it too

I have more than 2 options. My preferred option would be Simeone. My second choice would be Jose. And my outside choice would be Lowe.
Pellegrini I'm not sure on.

Other than that, I don't see a better choice than Moyes....

I can't see us getting my first and second choice.

Lowe would be a gamble, but one well worth taking, and as I say, I'm undecided on Pellegrini.

But carry on putting words into my mouth because I think Moyes may well be the most logical solution in amongst that lot.

I'd rather crush my foreskin between two tables whilst being dry bummed by a fat, moustached, ket-wigged, smack head, Greek fisherman named spyros...than let that ginger tool anywhere near this club!
To sumerise...it's a no from me;)

1. That's highly unlikely because smackheads don't eat.

2. How much can I pay to see you do this?, David Moyes aside
