i think baines's best years are behind him now. he will of course play a big roll at the club but i can see us looking at long term replcement for him tbh

Marc Hottiger isn't on there. And the reason he was omitted should not be 'he was so horrible we forced the memory from our brain'
Im more impressed that you noticed he wasnt there.
Dunno why, but as I perused the list I immediately noticed he wasn't there. Lets just say when he was signed off the back of a promising Euro's I was excited to go to school amongst the Manc supporters with a modicum of pride. But of course, he was duff, and I had to endure constant crap from them all.

Yeah, and on top of that, compounding things, just one year later Kanchelskis left for Fiorentina and the likes of Thomsen, Farrelly came in.
You know what, I am getting depressed thinking about those grim times.
Moving on......
I can't help myself. Just looked it up and we paid 700k for him, then just over a year later we sold him for 25k.
Superb business that.
Thats why I was impressed, we have signed some utterly terrible players over the last 25 years, Farrelly is a legend tho.
