Maybe ask a few Southampton fans on one of their forums and see what they think of him. I'm sure they're very happy with him as he's done an excellent job, but I don't know much about specific positives/negatives. I doubt you'll get any great answers on here.
if i asked one of them they'd tell me to do one.

as for southampton, their fans will be happy with that position because it is not expected, but that's WHERE we expect to be.

Ask fans of a club that has 1 FA Cup to its name in its entire history?

Im sure they love him, considering they were in the 3rd tier 4 years ago, I bet they are over the moon finishing 6th in the Prem.

Whoever it is , it needs to be done quickly.
A lot of transfers are going to be done quickly after the end of the season because of the Euros.
We need to give the new manager as much time as possible to buy and sell.

Doesn't the opposite usually happen? Wait until after the tournament before buying to try and pick up a bargain?

I do remember reading Koeman was really frustrated at the start of the season possibly losing Mane with little to no backing from the board

I'll wait and see. He seems like a sensible choice.

Better than Eddie Howe.

That Eddie Howe shout is a bit a joke, nearly as much as Moyes or Hughes but I just hope Koeman dosent bring Lee

it just feels to me that people are ok with koeman just because he's better than martinez 9(which isnt hard)

someone genuinely tell me why he is the man to take everton forward, to become a proper force in the league and europe

Why has he failed at a similar club like valencia?

why was he so poor in europe this season?

what good points would he actually bring to everton.

I want to be convinced.

Who would make you happy?

Mourinho? He may just be using us as a bargaining chip to get LVG out of the way - I want a manager who wants to be here (not someone who joins us as a last resort).

FdB? Read about the fans opinions of the dull football at Ajax (and Bergkamp/Stam will be staying at Ajax)

Pellegrini? Wasted a lot of money (£50M on Sterling??!!), hasn't exactly covered himself in glory this season considering the resources at his disposal.

FSW? Relegated with Newcastle. Hasn't exactly done much since he left Mordor.

The thing is, Moshiri is here for the long run and he is serious about turning us into contenders He's not going to sign up a useless manager, splash millions and get nothing in return. This is a man with a business head, not a sentimental head like BK.

I'm not saying Koeman is my first choice, but I do think he's done a good job at So'ton and he's a winner from his playing days. Give the man a chance before you send in the executioner. ;)

Are you suggesting we appoint 2 managers?

1 August till December and the McKoeman January till May?

An interesting concept.
Well if that isn't Moyes like I don't know what is, dodgy start, storming second half. Then you always got people saying look what he's done in the second half, imagine what he'll do for a full season next year! Never worked out that way though.

Am I right in thinking Koeman has a year left on his current contract? And that he has said he will honour this contract to the end?

Perhaps I'm making that up in my head but I'm certain I've seen something to that effect.

koeman i'm intrigued by, if we could get him.

you know im not happy about saying his name but id take benitez over pellegrini all day, over the the other prem names in that list too. pellegrini wouldnt be that bad if we could defend. but ask man city fans and theyll tell u he's martinez mk 2 in that regard.

de boer i'm not impressed by at all.

I would be happy going out there and taking a chance. My posts clearly indicate i dont want benitez and any blue who does is... special.

Pellegrini would be the worst choice out of them all, he is a older martinez, and it would not be a step forward.

I would be happy with fdb yes, provided he surrounded himself with good coaches, and advisors.

You don't know that stam or DB would stay at ajax until talks happen, so pointless speculating.

I would like us to go ballsy, why not try talk to mourinho, why not talk to fevre, see his ideas, why not rudi garcia there are plenty of people who would provide a risk but potentially be worth it.If we have as much ambition as we say we do, why not TRY for Tuchel, what harm does TRYING do?

Koeman is a lazy appointment for me. And i don't think he'd take the club forward as much as people in here are saying.

I've answered all your questions, you answer mine now.
