.....the key unknown is what he would do in the transfer market. Colin Harvey is a prime example, brilliant coach at youth and first team level but so much is about bringing in the right players.
I was only meaning as an interim manager. Will be interesting the response of the players come Sunday. Then unsworth can go back to the excellent job he is doing with the academy.

many of us wanted him gone before the semi.
Well before it, several weeks in fact. I hoped he'd get sacked before the Derby, as I (and no doubt many others) weren't even expecting anything positive from it, that's the extent the fanbase got to - not even being as arsed about a match against them. We all knew what was going to happen that week, all except Roberto apparently.

Unsworth and Royle leading the team out against the RS and United would've meant we, at the very least, got our fight back. Sadly it didn't happen then, but thankfully it's done now.

well well well, johnny boy

'Frank is an incredible winner.

To the questions that keep pouring in, Everton fans, I propose therefore always the same answer: De Boer and Everton are in my opinion a perfect match. Between 2009 and 2014 I spent five years before that fantastic club allowed to play and in 2012 I was Player of the Year, so I hope that my opinion matters. When Frank finds it, I can catch him in any case the club, the brilliant Goodison Park and the players'

Mourinho is my number choice followed by emery. However both are unrealistic. Koeman, pelligrini and de boer would be fine with me, although I can see why koeman is favourite. Young and established at premiership level. Sadly I don't know if his appointment would enable us to retain our 'stars' unlike mourinho and emery. That sadly is the lasting legacy of martinez's reign here.

What is clear is how much Martinez has devalued this club and Squad over the last 2 seasons, certain pundits and Journo's asking why Koeman would come to us when Soton are bigger and better is astonishing.

Koeman or not, we'll rise like a phoniex from the flames next season, those doubting us will eat humble pie and get a good slapping down I'm telling you.

Can't wait to be sitting in the top 4 at Xmas, see what Ray Wilkins/Matt Lawson have to say then.
