One problem though could be he sees us as a stepping stone to Man U if LVG is allowed to see out the one year left on his contract.

If, and it's a big if, LVG stays at OT another year it"ll be to give Giggs another year on the bench next to him before he gets the job himself!

As far as I know LVG is retiring end of next season. It only be a one season stop gap.
