Andy Gray says Mark Hughes is perfect for the job and he'd be great for Everton. He wouldn't be my pick but
Andy was very convincing and I respect his opinion.

I'd love it if Mourhino put himself in the frame just to see the reaction of pundits who won't mention Everton when
talking about his next job.

currently the top 4 in the betting (betfair) are the 4 mentioned being on the original 4 man shortlist on the forum. Mourinho is only 8/1.

De Boer, Koeman, Pellegrini then Mourinho in the betting, at least according to betfair. Moyes, is 20/1 (phew)

I just want to take the forum back to the Moyes era. People were always asking who could do a better job? Who would replace Moyes? Why would anyone want to take over Everton? In the end, we accepted Roberto Martinez as our hope. But prior to Moyes leaving, there were huge questions on the forum and huge concerns about who would take over.

How things have changed?! We now have potential interest from almost everywhere. Frank De Boer, multiple title winner with Ajax, champions league winner in 1995, dutch maestro, would want to manage us. Possibly Koeman would want to jump ship. Mourinho may even be wondering if Everton could get him back into football. This is not deluded thinking clearly.

We are on the up ,even though we've had a horrible, horrible season. #DeBoerIn !

i was thinking that as well...probably De Boer tho' personally I'd rather Pellegrini for the Prem-pedigree.
I don't like him tbh. Not only does he look like any given tramp that lives under a bridge here in Glasgow, but also he has failed quite badly with City, of all clubs. Granted this year I can see why he'd do it, but his transfer dealings are quite meh there.

And the results weren't fantastic either, even before Pep. I mean yeah they reached the CL semi, but it was still largely uninspiring wasn't it? He did win the LC when it mattered (to us) though... Sadly they had to beat us on the way.
