He's a student of the plucky little Everton philosophy as are many of our Uk pundits - for this reason I tend to ignore the beaut.
Also being articulate isn't necessarily a positive attribute - (see 90% of politicians)

Off topic sorry but I heard that Hansen and Lawrensen were getting about £15k per MOTD episode. Surely getting my leg pulled but if that was where my license fee was going I'd be livid.

And if people think that we don't appeal to JOSE then they're mistaken. As I've said before - (somewhere and not just whilst ranting at wife and kids, none of whom listen) - our club, with the MOSH in cahoots, is the ULTIMATE vanity project for JOSE, it'd irk everyone...as would any potential success via him being here. Think abarrrrr it...he's a hero in WEST LONDON....he basically has the very easy option to become a legend here. And so what if it's three years and away. Great...that's three years of hush-fingers, sass and pressers to make us high five ourselves. And a trophy or two almost certainly. He more than knows what's here and the potential that lies snoozing. Ditto the MOSH as he wouldn't be onboard otherwise would he...

So go for him, call JORGE, call JOSE, call bluffs... go in quick, be decisive, be pro-active but - bigger than that- be a new type of EVERTON.

He can only say NO.

Personally I think he'd be a fool if he did.
