With the exception of Mourinho, who ain't going to come here, that's a depressing list of candidates once you mull it over.

Some alternatives:

Lennon - Won as much as De Boer in a minor league
Howe - Evertonian. Has come up through the leagues, much like Moyes
Flores - Managed with some success in La Liga like Pellegrini and over-achieved at Watford in the Prem
LVG - If we really must go Dutch, there is no other candidate out there with a better record. Koeman's is gash in comparison.

We need to reassess, we really do.

I read that Milan is after Emery, no confirmation yet. Surely we are more competitive than Serie A. Where is Milan again over the past few years? Relatively better than us in a dead league isn't really that much better.

Well at least contact the guy and have a discussion with him. He's too good not to even speak to.
Just checked Milan haven't qualified for Europe and they are currently in process of being taken over by a Chinese group. Premier league is where you want to be next season if you want to challenge yourself.

1) Mourinho
2) De Boer - would love Mourinho, but he may be beyond our reach, and I would certainly be happy with De Boer
3) Other - Bielsa

FDB stinks of Steve MaClaren imo. I think he would be a disaster, possibly even worse than Martinez.
That's really harsh and a bit unfair. He wouldn't be my first choice but he won the league four times on the bounce, something no other Ajax manager has done. Steve McLarens has always been a good coach but not a great manager. It's not like McLaren won the Dutch league 4 times on the spin is it.
As for your view that he'd be worse than Martinez I think that's laughable. For a start his teams can defend!
