Regardless of what anyone thinks about Emery's footballing ability - I simply can get past images of Richard Emery - and that puts me off!!!

I'm of that age and after seeing the glory years I'm desperate to see us return there. That doesn't mean finishing fourth or winning the cup that means winning the league and then the Champions League.

We need to get back to our motto, for me Emery and Mourinho are the top picks, I'd go for Emery but whatever your views on the manager we have to aim for the top and then work down the list. We shouldn't in my opinion be going for Mourinho and then the Dutch Moyes Koeman (copyright moutsgoat).

So in answer to your original point I don't think it's an age thing I think it's an attitude thing.

He done a cracking so far but he not ready yet, we might be to big for him like Martinez. That why we need someone bigger who won't drown like Koeman, Frank or pellegrini
