The problem is koeman has had a massive surplus in his net spend, virtually half the team of two years ago were sold for big money I'd guess only half of that has been reinvested back in the team. When you consider the new tv deal that takes effect next season, I don't think koeman is unrealistic in what he is asking and that is what worries me.

Thats because the ownership at Saints doesn't invest in the team mate, whilst it may not beunrealistic what he asks for, for their owners who have now had back to back managers who have finished around Europe without any change to the way they operate as owners, then why are they gonna be bent over by him, they will simply believe they can bring in another manager who can carry on the model of the way they run as a club.

Despite what Leicester did this year, the glass celing will still exist in nearly all the woners minds, so they will not suddenly think that top4 or a title is realistic if they spend x, y and z. If anything Leicester winning th ething will convince them it is doable on a budget just as easily as by splurging

On one hand we have The Esk saying Mosh is going to show huge ambition, yet on the other, we have threads dominated by names like Koeman and De Boer. The two don't tally.

I'd say Mourinho is above those two obviously, maybe even Emery. But who else is there that would show 'huge ambition'?
