Here, You're being sentimental in your thinking.

There's no benefit to PL experience imo. It's a pointless argument and rules out most of the world's managers but brings absolute no marks like Sam, Pulis, Pardew, Curbishley and Hughes into the equation. We need to get away from going down the boring bog standard PL experience route. See Silva Koeman & Martinez.

Other than if you've had years of success and trophies to match, pl experience is virtually meaningless. And we can't attract an elite manager like Guardiola.

He doesn't even have managerial experience never mind PL experience, You're offering a prayer that Guardiola's magic will some how have poured into him and that he will somehow be able to turn Everton around despite having zero experience as a manager and just a #2 to Guardiola, Now that is a chancer.

Yes it's largely based on Guardiola. But I'm baffled that people underplay that tbh.

But also the fact arsenal were very close to appointing him. And they are a huge club. If he is almost good enough for Arsenal then he's probably more than good enough for us.

We need to appoint him as soon as possible and get to work with rebuilding what this club is about.

It's way too risky, Especially as his first job. Clearly Arsenal turned him down for a reason. It would be one of the biggest gambles ever and I don't think that's what the club needs right now.

Dont want Howe or Arteta

We need to go all out for a Wenger/Mourinho and if they tell us where to go then go for someone experienced but also no nonsense like Mancini or Biesla.

Ten Hag is the only "risk" manager I would be happy with.

Just hope Brands is better at picking managers than he is of signing players or it will be more of the same.
