I've said before I don't think Howe is the worst option by far, people need to look at where we are and who we can feasibly attract.

That's the thing though. It would be protracted at the very least and very messy when we just don't have the luxury of time.

Long gone are the days where a club like Bournemouth would think they were doing the decent thing by their manager to give him a crack at the Everton job, especially in mid-season. We're not Utd or Liverpool or even Spurs these days. Take the blue tinted glasses off and it's hard to justify why you would let your manager jump ship to us at this point in time.

If he genuinely fancied a crack at it, and is a genuine target, then there would be more space and time in the summer but even appointing Koeman from Soton was long-winded then.

It's an indictment of the mis-management of the club but we are where we are. It's either another foreign punt, someone from within the Everton gene pool, or a safety-first/interim appointee similar to Allardyce. In some ways Moyes would represent all three (apart from being foreign) which is why he is still likely be here and in charge for the Chelsea game as I see things.

If Benitez is available now, then I think its sheer folly not to offer him the job.

Howe would be another mistake by the club.

Never finished anywhere near the european spots but our bulbhead board expect him to rock up here and do it.

Think him & Moyes would finish me bothering with Everton for a while.

Would even rather Arteta as atleast no ones knows his level.

Good news, Watford are sacking another manager. Our search is over!!!
im sure we can fix things to ensure we have to pay them some compensation as well!

You just knew other clubs would be decisive in changing there managers to rescue the season, we'll still be twiddling our thumbs in January not sure what to do

Gone backwards actually.

Finished ninth three seasons ago - 12th and 14th since – and he's splashed the cash over those windows.
with crowds of 11.000 I think they are just happy with premier league football, Charlton fans were not satisfied and hounded curbishly out
trouble is for us, we cant attract big names, no one wants arteta or an untried manager, rednapp doing ok, slipped up yesterday, but only had a season in championship
