No, it’s nothing to do with perception of Bournemouth as a club, i’ve studied the numbers and in my opinion, he’s done exceptionally well on a budget.

It’s indisputable that he improved Burnley. Leaving Burnley for personal reasons 7 years ago doesn’t mean he’s incapable of working anywhere other than Bournemouth for the rest of his career.

He was there for 18 months and completely recycled an ageing team. Stands to reason, he wasn’t going to bounce back up. He was also 34.

Also, for what it’s worth, 18 months later when Burnley went up under Dyche, half of the team was brought in by Howe.

Lad, he ain't going anywhere near a top 6 side.
 
Brands needs to be checking availability of a quality coach to be announced and installed very shortly after Silva is sacked. Like Leicester did with Rodgers last season. I don't know who but there has to be someone better than the clown we have.
 

Howe would be very much a Bill Kenwright choice he's another decent coach but another risk. We need someone with discipline and a winner.
