There's no obvious replacement. I'd go for an experienced survivor like Howe or Dyche who would like the chance to operate with a big budget.

We approached him when we appointed Koeman, we know this because Favre told us, unfortunately we left him hanging, waiting for a call back that never materialised.
If we do sack Silva at some point in the future, I’d be very happy to appoint Favre.

You are right I can't understand why we would want someone who has won 25 trophies as a manager and is comfortably in the top 10 in the world around today and is actually available at the moment. Crazy supporters.
