We approached him when we appointed Koeman, we know this because Favre told us, unfortunately we left him hanging, waiting for a call back that never materialised.
If we do sack Silva at some point in the future, I’d be very happy to appoint Favre.
I would consider that the club's biggest embarrassment in the last 5 years. He's above our level now.

Yep, I was totally on the Favre train especially how he got Mönchengladbach to play with regularity. THAT was how we needed to go from Martinez, not to scrap everything and "cross it in to a grock" that Koeman wanted. Such asinine mentality by the decision makers up top.

Let me tell you a little story about Rafael the rat...

It was the tradition that the incumbent manager of either EFC of lfc be invited out to dinner by the manager of either Merseyside Club...it was DM at the time and the rat refused.

Do we really want a small time bitter rat at Everton Football Club?

Does anyone in that camp actually consider that the likes of Howe and dyche are pretty much Moyes 2.0?

Win nothing, find their level and over achieving is where we should have been aiming as a minimum?

The markets they are used to is where we would start from again. So that means a repeat of moshiri summer 1. Or brands players that the pair of them won't have a clue how to manage given that they are used to the reliable British style player.

Sounds like he gets the rivalry to me tbh.

I'd appoint Diego Simeone I would.
