He got one albeit a very good young one and tried to get another (Upamecano). They are rumoured to be going back for him in the summer when his release clause drops.
Man Utd got a 'quality ' CB and still concede goals.
Sanchez at Spurs cist £42m and doesn'tlook anything special.
Sanchez alongside Mina is a fantastic combination for Colombia

The manager isn't the problem.

The whole club needs a broom running through it. The club is too sentimental and there are too many ex-players on the staff, some of whom are utterly toxic and bordering on sociopathic.

The shabite did the right thing with Shankly. We need to do the same with some of ours.

Until we do, it won't matter who the manager is.

The problem is if we only appoint yes men things will never change.

We need a top manager coming in who will demand the best from top to bottom of the club.

You are right I can't understand why we would want someone who has won 25 trophies as a manager and is comfortably in the top 10 in the world around today and is actually available at the moment. Crazy supporters.
His style of burn everything to the ground hurts clubs in the long run.

Not even sure his style works any more. He’s a rich mans version of Moyes

He bought Fred for over £50 million

He didn’t respect United. What makes us think he’d respect our beloved club?

Wilder every day.

He's got a bunch of championship players playing well drilled and attacking football.

Worked his way up, get him signed and give him a blank cheque book. (Well brands or whatever)

Eddie Howe is a better, younger version of Chris Wilder, and has done it for many years.

Wilder has managed 10 games in the top flight and you want to give him the job?

Unfortunately it seems we can’t attract them, that’s the only logical reason I can come to, to explain the last few we’ve had. We are now in an even worse position to attract them.

sometimes a combo works better than the individual.
Koscielny and Vermalen were a decent pairing but Vermalen got the big transfer because he's a ball playing CB. Apart , it was obvious Koscielny was the better of the 2.

The problem is the horse has bolted - we had our chance to get rid but who will take us on with the upcoming fixtures and injury list piling up?

Our board are absolute tools.
