I had never heard of him before last night. We have had bad managers for the last 6 years we need to just use the money for some massive name
He perfect for Everton...

Sheff Wednesday player hadn’t score for 2 years... gets a hat-trick that’s sooo Everton

Well if you believe Philly K from the Echo it said he would be in charge for Wednesday and hopefully a manager in place for the Arselel game.

I’d be stunned if Ancelotti came here, imo Arsenal would by far be his chosen destination, but he may not be interested in coming to England at all. He could have a bumper pay deal lined up in China or somewhere else.

He has a house still in London and spends time there when not in a job or on time off.

What is the point in going for young managers we hope will work, because if they even have a sniff of success here they will be off to a bigger club before we can even reap any rewards of our risk, so age does not matter.

Get an experienced head in, LONG LIVE CARLO.

Why is everything we do on a game by game basis? Sacking Silva was decided game by game and now we have a statement after every game saying Dunc will be in charge.

Simeone for me, has that passion and aggression that could get a tune out of our squad as it is now. I think he would be driven and motivated by a whole new challenge. Carlos, not sure, fantastic coach but does he need an Everton in his life at this stage

(not sure if serious)

Even if, by some minor miracle, we've convinced the bloke that we're the right move for him at this stage of his career - I really don't think Ancelotti is the right man for us.

He's never had to manage a team at this level before, it requires a different skillset to managing a team of well-established, high quality players. Horses for courses, I don't think Klopp or Guardiola would have the same success managing in League Two, in the same sense I don't believe that Micky Mellon would do well at a Liverpool or City.

Thats all a bit finger in the air tho isnt It mate? for all you know they could go them clubs and be massive successes just because they haven't managed at that level before doesn't mean they cant do it...?

Napoli were hardly world beaters when he took over there.

Of course Klopp and Guardiola would do well in any league, they get the best out of what’s at their disposal.
