Anyone see the play before the winning FG in the Ravens/Lions match? Shot clock had clearly run down, ball was snapped at least a second or two after, no officials picked up on it. But the commentators did. Basically should have been a delay of game penalty and a 10 second run off, which would have ended the game.

Sometimes think there is a huge amount of match fixing / rigging in the NFL.

Wouldn't have been a runoff as the clock was already stopped.

It’s never an instantaneous thing. There is a built-in buffer after the play clock runs out while:

1. Official sees the clock hit zero
2. Official looks at the center and sees the ball is not snapped
3. Official blows his whistle
4. Official throws a flag

Yeah but they wouldn't have kicked a 71 yarder
They also wasted the a play before it which they wouldn't have done otherwise. There are usually quite a few delay of games like that one a game that don't get thrown. I know this is a big moment so it gets the microscope but it is what it is, they don't call that penalty consistently.

That is shockingly far away from Chicago. Imagine if Everton decided to build a new ground in Chorley, and that’s basically how far Arlington Heights is from Soldier Field.

On the other hand, where exactly could Chicago possibly put a stadium?

Can't be as bad as the Santa Clara 49ers playing their home games 45 miles from San Francisco. With the Raiders gone they should change their name to the San Francisco Bay 49ers.
I think it is going to be the second furthest from downtown. Chicago is big so it isn't that far from the city edge but it is way out.

There is no way Urban Meyer coaches the Jaguars for a full season. He will take the first big college job offer that hits his desk, maybe USC.
