I didn’t agree that the point is valid.I just made a typo.
Your argument is a fair one though you are extrapolating a whole conference being stronger than the other based only on Chiefs results.

Teams like the Chiefs and the Patriots have traded away players like Higgins which is why they stayed on top. You need a front office that knows what its doing though. Historically, Cincy's FO has been amonst the worst in the league. Some hard decisions coming up for the Bungles who are making hay with rookie contracts - for now.

Teams like the Chiefs and the Patriots have traded away players like Higgins which is why they stayed on top. You need a front office that knows what its doing though. Historically, Cincy's FO has been amonst the worst in the league. Some hard decisions coming up for the Bungles who are making hay with rookie contracts - for now.

He's a No.2 WR and generally just faces single teams and has a good QB. However when you look at the insane contracts that were handed out to players he's better than he probably feels like he can get 20-25M/year. Best best is to rip up his current contract and offer 3 years 55-60M (most guarenteed) starting in 2023 (he's under contract to make 2.4M next year).

Anyway they'd be crazy to trade him w/ next year probably being the best chance they have of winning a SB. It would be hard to get a 1st round pick for him.

To think, Tom's last ever Superbowl was him clobbering Patrick Mahomes up and down the field and taking all his corners. A man almost 20 years his junior. There will never be another like him
