I know a few of you in here are also living in Texas… so to me, the most insulting part of the whole game, even worse than the bad penalty, was the HEB supermarket commercial during one of the local ad blocks even though they won’t open any of their stores near Dallas or Fort Worth. How dare you.
 

I'm no expert but watched the second half of the game. Exciting finale.
There didn't seem to be much defence going on as the Kansas guys were virtually walking in to score.
I'd say our VAR hold-ups are as nothing compared to what goes on in the NFL.
Nevertheless, it seems very popular!
 
Blame the refs all you want to but Mahomes scored on every drive he had in the second half

That is greatness under the most intense pressure
 

Eagles win the first half 24-14 and the Chiefs win the second half 24-11... Clear as day that the Chiefs coaching staff won this. They looked a totally changed team in the third quarter.

Particularly smart of Spagnolo to focus on making Hurts roll out of the pocket to the left, effectively cutting off two thirds of the field for passing. Chiefs DL did very well indeed.

The Chiefs were magnificent in the second half and the Eagles D had no answer for them. I thought Hurts was brilliant and the Eagles team can hold their head up high, but the only thing that let them down was a fading D who simply ran out of steam and stopped being able to make plays. And you need to make plays against Mahomes, he is an absolutely top tier player. AFC will be fantastic next year imo

Not to me. The issue with Hurts, and I have seen the comparison before, but there is a slight whiff of the Cam Newtons off him. The Eagles shouldn't be running him as much as they do. He's got a very good arm, can scramble in tough situations and is clearly a mature guy with great leadership skills. But if they keep playing him the way they are now, he will be ground down sooner rather than later. Burrow will be there or thereabouts for years to come. But if Siriani insists on putting his prize asset in those rugby scrums and exposing him to hits, his shelf life at the level he played at last night will be very short
