After Brady, Rodgers is the biggest ass in Football. A total big head, Who (also like Brady) is made to look good because of everyone else around him.

I don't really care to address the big head part but I don't think you could be more wrong about Rodgers being made good by people around him. Adams is basically the only above average receiver he has and tonight he didn't have Cobb or Allison either. Baktiari is a good blocker but the rest of that line is only ok and they can't run. On top of that they have very little offensive design. Basically Rodgers just makes crazy throws into non existent spaces to move the ball. McCarthy basically is only still a head coach because of Rodgers. He's the best.

Ok, he is the best. He has won less SB's than Eli Manning. He has won just as many as Trent Dilfer. I could go on.

I was harsh on Brady's ability before, he is obviously (albeit infuriatingly) good. But look at Rodger's record. I really believe that he will never win another SB.

The Super Bowl thing is such a silly argument. Dilfer won because he had the best defense ever. Eli had similar levels of support. Peyton Manning was probably one of the 3 best QBs ever but he was so far past it that he almost prevented Denver from winning it and they had the team to do it anyway. People don't really remember this but Brady wasn't insane destroyer of worlds Brady until he had already won 3 Super Bowls playing on a complete team.

Rodgers meanwhile has never had a dominant defense, never had decent coaching and often had some kind of hindrance on offense (no line, no running game, limited receiving ability) and it has never effected his performance. Really it's a shame that the Packers have been so incompetent in putting the team together and coaching it that they've wasted the best QB to play the sport so far.

LOL, love that. And next week he will destroy my world as he plays the Bears. However, Ill have Everton beating Crystal Palace 5-0 to cheer me up!

The way (my) Packers play there's zero chance of that. Barely beat the Bears Week 1 - but only after they woke up, didn't show up at Washington (or Detroit) until it was too late, mildly infuriating calls against them denied them the win over the Vikes (happily they are now struggling!) - another one they had in the bag, easy win over Bills, sloppy against SF (again well ahead but needed a miracle to pull it out). Heading for 9-6-1 at this rate. Likely another poor showing (-10) at Soldier Field.

Think the Vikes game at the Jets on Sunday will be a big one for how the NFC North finishes.

This couldn't more wrong. You don't have the stats like Rodgers simply because everyone else around you is that good. Although that can be said about some QB's especially one of the ones you mention Eli Manning who is overrated.

Also you kind of contradict yourself here.

On one hand you say Rodgers only looks good because of the people around him but then you compare him to other QB's based on Superbowl medals.

You realise if everyone else around him made him look that good they would be a shoe in for the Superbowl each year then right? The Patriots make the Superbowl more often than not because of how Brady works the ball and to say he is overrated is also a bit mad.

I agree with @TheBigIguana you cannot equate skill with Superbowl's. Just look at how many hall of fame players there are who have no medals. Just look at QB alone. These 5 QB's never won the Superbowl... Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Frank Tarkenton, Dan Fouts and Warren Moon. All very good QB's in their day.

Phillip Rivers looks like he may end his career with none too unless they pull it off this year. He's a lock for the hall of fame and a superb QB too.

I could go on... as you say.....

Great post . Rodgers is scary good and has been held back by McCarthy imo . Hopefully this continues lol

Farcical preperation from Arizona, second play they need a time out and then thrown an interception, hope this isnt going to be a one sided bore

All the talk is that if Arizona's offense has a poor showing their offensive coordinator is gonna be fired. Calling a timeout on the second play of the game is inexcusable.
Certainly made some bizzare calls, like going for the end zone earlier when they only needed a few yds for a 1st down, aside from that 2 pick 6, its not like Denver have been great this season but Cardinals making it easier for them
