Literally the worst possible metric to measure which QBs are and aren't good by
Totally disagree. QB’s have so much importance and influence over games that their W/L record is of paramount importance. How many losing QB’s last any serious amount of time at all before they are disposed of? Very few.

So much happens in a football game outside the QBs control that it isn't a worthwhile way to look at it.

So are Trent Dilfer, Brad Johnson and Eli Manning all great Quarterbacks then?

Do you even know who two of the three of them are and their records?

Your knowledge of the NFL seems quite poor to be frank.

Bills brought back down to earth.

You love to see it

I know. Tired of seeing them winning and all their fans. Running around breaking protocol, holding practices against league rules. Making 3 other teams play at a disadvantage. Leaving contact tracing bracelets at home.

Wait... Bills? I thought the Titans lost.

Manning is going to the hall of fame so I have no idea why you’ve included him In that list.

The other 2 are very much exceptions to the rule (both bolstered by 2 of the greatest defenses of all time)

Are you talking about Eli and his 116-116 win loss record?

Eli should be nowhere close to the HOF but sadly many people think like you do. It's a terrible metric. I mean on the current season Baker Mayfield is better than Cam Newton. You agree?

All 3 of them have terrible records and have super bowl rings. All 3 of them got their superbowl rings because of their defenses.

There are more guys I could have listed too.

Your logic is flawed and your knowledge is too.

Greatness isn't defined by superbowl rings friend. They are a bonus.

@ilikecheese always brings up good points about teams with players who work because of good schemes. Many average QB's have better success because of this.

Some QB simply have better success because of specific WR they like to work with and without those key guys they are nothing.

There are so many metrics other than a superbowl ring and winning every game that makes a QB good.

If a QB throws for 300 plus yard and several TD's but the team lose because a defender misses a tackle or their kicker hits the post you are saying that the responsibility is on the QB. Thats dumb. Clearly you don't understand the game.

I’m a Chiefs fan. for many years we had decent QB play from a variety of players who put up good numbers in the regular season while true leaders like Manning and Elway in our division walked off with the trophies.

Mahomes has shown the Chiefs the difference between the likes of Elway and Manning and the Alex Smith, Philip Rivers, Matt Ryan’s of this world.
