Where CEH has struggled is in short yardage situations. I doubt if Bell gets more than 5-7 carries a game. Additionally he will be gone at the end of the season.
Signing Bell reeks of desperation. He's a clubhouse cancer and I question his fitness and ability/desire to play at a high level any more. I don't think he'll revive his career with the Chiefs. In fact, I think it's more likely he's cut by the Chiefs like the AB situation than he plays a key role for the Chiefs come December and beyond

There’s no desperation at the Chiefs. The reality is that with or without Bell they are going to win the division and are strong favourites to win the super bowl. The Raiders for example had their Super Bowl last week.

What is likely to occur is that the Bell will perform a similar role to McCoy last season and be gone at the end of it.

After their 1st contract is up RBs usually only have about 3 years to make some money so I don't hold it against them when they hold out. Gase is a horrible coach who didn't want him. That team is terrible, I saw runs from him where he had to shed multiple defenders to gain 3 yards.

He won't start at KC but you'll probably as the no 2 RB and No.4 WR in the coming weeks. He's good in the slot. I think a big reason they got him was to keep him from going to the Ravens or Pats for cheap.
