Tough for Lawrence too. No chance Jacksonville is a better situation than the Jets.
Idk. I actually trust the Khan's more than the Johnson's. I'm closer to to the Jets situation so I hear about how much of a mess it is regularly.
Atleast Jacksonville will have a gm, coach, and QB all on the same timeline. Jets gonna fire the coach, even though some are doubting it. But a gm holdover.
Also I'm a Bills fan, I'm not huge on Lawrence for mostly personal reasons. His fiance's dad is friends with my uncle and I'm tired of hearing about him. If he's gonna be good, do it Jacksonville. Even though I was looking forward to the Bills whooping that ass two times a year.

I guess it is splitting hairs but I just see Jacksonville as not having a culture that will ever produce a lot of wins. Jets isn't great but I think having fans that care matters.

Don't think the offside was a penalty tbh. The return should have stood. Although strange call from Packers to then get turned over on downs

Cincinnati stepped on to the field yesterday with nothing to play for. When you are this far behind everyone else, you HAVE to play your last two or three games with an eye on your draft position and the likely prospects available. We have a franchise QB who was knocked out of the season due to our awful OL, and there's a consensus franchise left tackle (Sewell, Oregon) available who will be highly in demand.
So NOW we start winning??!!
End result? We're now picking 5th, not 3rd. Our idiot owner will now pick a WR or CB in the first round. Another year of getting hammered awaits.

It's not really possible for the coach and players to not try. I know everyone from the outsides thinks they should think about the draft but the thing is if Taylor goes 2-14 (or 2-13-1 as it is) twice in a row that draft position isn't going to matter. Players won't be around if they don't show they can play. When you're the team playing tanking just isn't going to happen.
I'd still fire Taylor fwiw but that's because I don't think he knows what he's doing and got Burrow killed.
