Can you help me with all those play offs please.

Play offs start next week with wildcard round. Top 2 teams get a bye next week into the divisional round.

But this is the last day of the regular season so still a few playoff places up for grabs.

If Washington win they are in.

The winner of Rams v Cardinals is in and the loser is out.

Cleveland are in if they win

Baltimore are in if they win

Chicago are in if they win

Titans are in if they win

I've probably missed others out as well!

Got it hopefully.

Important distinction that it’s the top team in each conference that gets a bye, not just the two best teams overall.

Would like to see Cleveland get in just because they’ve wandered in the desert for most of the past 30 years. Hope things fall into place so that the Titans miss out, they’re the localish team for me, but I can’t stand them.

Also, so glad we get to cap off an exciting day by watching two trash teams play simply because they’re from the NFC East and a bunch of people will watch. IMO the NFL needs to implement a rule where you have to win at least nine games to qualify for the playoffs. Winning six games and being the least awful team in a division of full of awful teams shouldn’t get you into the playoffs.

Getting nervous ahead of the big game at soldier field now, like playing the vermin in a semi final, optimistic but expecting the inevitable

Out of interest why do you dislike the Titans so much? I randomly support them but they have been largely awful for the entire time I have so I've probably disliked them more than I've liked them to be honest

I guess they’re not as bad now, but I have a lot of residual distaste for their previous owner. He was basically a total cheapskate who routinely spent well under the salary cap and just pocketed the excess. As a result they were the very definition of mediocrity for at least a decade and were completely devoid of ambition to be any better than 8-8 every season.

It had been grim watching for a long time. I'm not a super fan or anything though so i guess I just sort of dealt with it without caring too much. Been largely enjoyable the last 2 years at least. Amy Adams Strunk seems like a decent owner, maybe she learnt how not to do it from watching her Dad

Would love to see the Eagles, Falcons and Texans win tonight.

Falcons currently down by ten, and both the Eagles and the Texans face opponents who need tow in today to make the playoffs. Brilliant.
