The refs didn't force GB to kick a FG.

That was criminal by Lafleur. A complete bottle of a decision.

But the reffing of that match was so inconsistent it would put you off sport. It was worse than watching our refs cock up handball calls. If that was a penalty by King then the hold (I think on Lazard) on the Rodgers pick before half time was worth 10 penalties. Bad calls by Lafleur should have zero effect on refs doing their jobs.

Sore one for the Packers, this felt like the last chance for Rodgers.

If ever a game showed up two of the best three quarter backs in the league it was this one. The Bucs team did the job overall. Deserved it.
Brady was terrible. I don't know why I have to keep saying this but Brady played terribly. He might be the only person on Earth who can get as much credit for being bad as he does.

This will be the 55th Super Bowl in NFL history, but the first time ever a team has played the game on their home field. Of course it’s the year that there’s going to be 5-10k people max allowed in.

its an obvious pen, I really don't know how you explain that if you are a ref if you don't call it because the whole stadium saw it.
Because they didn't do it all game. You can't change how the game works for one play.

My bigger problem is that they didn't call anything. They let tons of holds go that should have benefitted the Bucs. Then you go and call something to swing the outcome? Nah, that's poor.

He wasn’t great tonight. Threw at least three absolute horrors when under no pressure. Rogers was sacked 5 times (from memory) but due entirely to the terrific Bucs defence.
