Other players played too. I'm really tired of the NFL being so QB focused. The Buccaneers won.

Nature of the game though ain't it. They set the tempo, involved in everything offensive, natural they get the most attention.

Same as a superstar pitcher in MLB or... whatever Kobe Bryant/Michael Jordan was, won't even pretend to know the first thing about basketball!

That was criminal by Lafleur. A complete bottle of a decision.

But the reffing of that match was so inconsistent it would put you off sport. It was worse than watching our refs cock up handball calls. If that was a penalty by King then the hold (I think on Lazard) on the Rodgers pick before half time was worth 10 penalties. Bad calls by Lafleur should have zero effect on refs doing their jobs.

Sore one for the Packers, this felt like the last chance for Rodgers.

I've always said you need a running game in the playoffs. Refs swallow their whistle for offensive holding (packers-Bucs got away w/ a couple) and defensive holding/5 yard contact pens. They'll also won't be as strict on roughing the passer/defenseless WR pens. So passing is a bit more difficult in the playoffs.

However you can't be blantantly obvious like the final PI/hold was. The whole stadium saw it.

It is actually very different from basketball. Jordan played defense. He was involved in 100% of the game.

Baseball they don't use wins as a metric for pitchers anymore because it is dumb when they only impact 50%-ish of the game. That's football QBs too.

Eli is going to make the HOF because of wins and that's effing stupid. It's a completely ridiculous way to view a really intricate sport. Yeah QB play matters a lot but we (meaning the NFL community) have gone way too overboard with it.

Yeah Aaron Jones going out really hurt the Packers, although there was no need to completely abandon the run either. Dillon is underused every week.

I just dont like the inconsistent calling. There is nothing more frustrating in sport than officials who call similar incidents completely different. I'm certainly not an expert but to me you call all soft fouls or none.
