I'm still on the Gus bus after two years. Has a lot to do with Gus himself - he's kind of like a Martinez with the positivity thang.

Has to get .500 ball out of them next year, though. It's the NFL - you can lose, but Not For Long. Mark Brunell = prince of a guy. Will always be a legend here.

In all fairness I don't think I saw you all play once this season. Do ya think Bortles is gonna be the answer? It's such a QBcentric game the NFL.

Just saw Denard Robinson was the leading rusher :O

Bortles - I think so, we need a QB whisperer, and that's what they're looking for with the new OC. Bortles has a bit of Roethisberger (except in nightclubs with underage girls, that is) about him, after the rookie season he's clearly the leader of the team.

Robinson kind of stepped up out of nowhere when Gerhart was hurt most of the time. The run game here was not great - pass game a bit better, defense finally looking like they could play by the end of the year. Bradley's impact on the defense is clear. They play it aggressive about like the Hawks did, but without the personnel it isn't easy. Work in progress.

Tie game, here.
 
Calling all Americans...

I watch the NFL every now and then, but inevitably turn it over because I find it boring.

The problem is that I plan on going to the U.S. for a few months in a couple of years (after my degree) and I really want to be able to talk sports with my new mates out there... It's the only way I know how to make friends haha!!

Can anyone persuade me that NFL is awesome?!

Just like with any sport...do a bit of research, and pick a team based on what you find...what seems to fit you. Once you have a rooting interest, I bet you'll find the sport more enjoyable.

You have to think of it as a series of set pieces. Watch the cheerleaders in the breaks.

My first dog was called Seattle.... My dad chose the name... My dad is the reason I support Everton...

Will have to have a closer look soon...
