So apparently Tom knew and so did the locker room fellas.

Bill didn't know and neither did Bob. Cool, let's move on and find something else to complain about.

I miss Sundays with Football.

It's nothing more than a glorified science report. Goodell can create in one move an Exempt/Commissioner's list and the front office has never seen or is not aware of the Rice video from the casino elevator, yet commissions a 200+ page report to determine whether there could be an ethical issue with the Patriots manipulating the existing rules to their benefit. They don't care, and while they're certainly not as corrupt, the league is only a little less transparent than Sepp Bladder.

If you ain't first, you're last. Ricky Bobby would hire Belicheck as his crew chief in a heartbeat.

Three months til jarg headknocking. Then it's just weeks until the real thing. Until then, all silly all the time.

Of course there's always baseball. Been enjoying watching the RS of the Midwest rip my heart out night after night this week. Like a holiday at Anfield, this.

The important lesson to take from this nonsense is to stop texting about shady crap. If those two absolute idiots hadn't left a trail of texts implicating themselves, the Wells report would have come up completely empty.

Brady banned 4 games without pay. Pats hit with $1 million fine and 2 draft picks. Of course there gonna appeal.

“If Hillary doesn’t have to produce emails, why should Tom?” - the Donald himself.

Trump's a buffoon, but this makes sense to me. Tawwmy from Quinzee is far too angry to even speak right now. Good thing Belicheck never knew, right?

I was wrong--didn't think the league would take any action over deflate gate. Surprised by this to say the least.

Also satisfied, somewhat, as a Saints fan that another team is getting a little screwed over by the league. Per Groucho's unwritten rule thread, in the NFL, "Anything is ok, until you get caught"

There will be an appeal with a less severe punishment, no doubt about it. Once the players union get involved it will be handled accordingly.

The NFL is an absolute embarrassment when it comes to this kind of thing, it really is.

Interesting snippet on ESPN concerning squad turnover/rotation and success in the league; did someone say RM reads GOT?

PATRIOTS STAY AWAY FROM QB CAROUSEL
The Patriots have used a league-low 2 different starting QBs since Tom Brady made his first career start (2001 Week 3). Matt Cassel started 15 games in 2008 after Brady tore his ACL in Week 1. In contrast, the Browns have used an NFL-high 19 different starting QBs since Brady made his first career start.

The wookie is innocent.
