bit confused by the deflategate issue, would the umpires or the opposition not notice the balls were flatter..........
think they reported in gamebit confused by the deflategate issue, would the umpires or the opposition not notice the balls were flatter..........
think the brady suspension is fair but the others all shouldve gotten much longer, especially those convicted.Ray Rice ( beats his girlfriend up, knocks his girlfriend out, domestic violence ) Initial 2 game suspension.
Leonardo Carson ( convicted of kidnapping and burglary involving ex girlfriends sister ) 1 game suspension.
Darrion Scott ( possession of weed, suspicion of assault and malicious punishment of a child. Was caught holding a bag over a child's head and quoted ' We were playing a game and i wanted to see if the child could get the bag off his head himself ) 3 game suspension.
Ben Roethlisberger (2 counts of sexually assault involving 2 seperate women) 4 game suspension.
Tony McDaniel (arrested for battery of his girlfriend) 1 game suspension
Chris Henry (Off season of 2006 was pulled over and during the search, was found in possession of weed, no valid driving license and no insurance. One month later was arrested again for multiple gun charges, including concealment and aggravated assault with a firearm, a violation of a city ordinance after allowing three underage females to consume alcohol. Was pulled over again 6 weeks after and a breathalyzer showed he was over the limit. All this in the space of 2 months) 2 game suspension.
Tom Brady ( He may or may not of been aware that 2 people let some air out of a few footballs ) 4 game suspension
Maybe im missing something here but something doesn't quite add up.
Considerably better than he does having lost four, I suppose. Two superb QBs. Do they belong on that short list? No. How would Jim Kelly look if he'd won a couple of Super Bowls?
the whole world backs the Browns against the Steelers. They're the RS of the NFL.

Pardon?

Pats fans in full Kopite denial mode...clowns.
Aha. There you go. It's about that simple.
Plenty of room for both sets of fans to beclown themselves. Note that both the Stillers and the Pats lived through decades of congenital suckage before they become champions (and repeat champions!!) of der werrrrld and turned their fan base into deluded self-entitled glory hunting soul sucking monsters. Nothing like the RS, you see. Nothing at all.
Move along, nothing to see here. Tawwmy from Quinzee agrees.

Apparently the balls are specific to each offense; so the opposing defense would notice when they touch the ball (largely through interception), but the opposing offense has their own balls (and presumably ball pressure).
*learned all this with the scandal.

I never said anything about his phone, I agree he shouldn't have to release it due to privacy reason. You honestly think the two locker room guys just randomly decided to start deflating balls on their own and made those texts up? I think the whole media storm is blown out of proportion due to Brady's stature but him being a HoF should have nothing to do with a punishment. That being said it'll probably be reduced to 2 games anyway. My point with responding to your post comparing it to past suspensions is that just because the NFL was woefully incompetent with suspensions in the past doesn't mean they should continue to do so.How can it be fair ?
Just because Brady never allowed access to his phone, doesn't mean he is guilty and knew about the two goons deflating a few balls. A very high profile player, a sure hall of famer and one of the greatest players to play the game; a player who has painstakingly gone about his career to keep his image clean as an icon and role model. We are in a generation where its extremely likely that 'leaks' about the personal lives of these high profile people show up in the media. You can forgive him for trying to protect that and not allowing the NFL to have access to his phone.
