I'm amazed they didn't get Kaepernick all because they wanted to save 4M (you know journeyman DL money). Kaep when surrounded with talent has proven that he could play well and he only would have costed them 11M/year for 2 years. There was maybe only 3 QBs in the league that could have played even adequate in SFs offense. Why they are looking to the future with say Paxton Lynch I don't know because their future in 3 years is just cap hell. The AFC will be weak again and they can at least go to another SB with someone like Kaep.

Fear not, Carson Wentz is quite reglious-y. He also threw at a 28% completion rate under pressure, in 1-AA, I think only had 1 300 yard passing day, in 1-AA, and his backups stats for 2015 were pretty much the same. I watched quite a few NDSU games (they are fun to watch) last year. No one ever gameplaned to stop NDSU's passing game. It was their running game that everyone worried about. Did i mention he played in 1-AA?

If he goes 7-4 and beats Pittsburgh in a Play Off Game, I'll certainly pay him some attention

(Skip Bayless going on about that is like Davek going on about Martinez getting 72 points)
 
Just read that Mark Davis wants to move the Raiders to Las Vegas. That's not surprising. What's surprising is his hair. I'd never seen a picture of him before. What is actually wrong with him? Can we accurately predict his genetic deficiency based on his haircut alone?

Actually Tebow even today is no worse than many of the backups in the game today. For some reason NFL teams are terrified if the backup gets more attention than the starter.
 
Somebody give me a number for the hype/content quotient for the NFL Draft. Isn't worth a poll.

My ceiling is about 15 - 20 % max for content v hype. I'm going to watch some baseball and read the picks in the morning. I'll get the authentic Iggles breakdown for my own private source to provide entertainment.

(How many jokes can you make up that have these three words as a punchline or opener: "Sam Bradford's agent...")

Thank god for Bradygate or the Pats would be taking Miles Jack right about now.

Steelers reached for a journeyman/occasionally burned CB instead of grabbing an OLB with the 25th pick who could be the 2nd coming of Khail Mack or Von Miller. We haven't had a good pass rushing OLB since you know our lousy D was you know good.

The 49ers got rid of Harbaugh and kept the wonderkind GM who traded up for a guard....who would have been there in the 2nd round. grape jerb.
