It's fully expected in fairness lid . Packers with everything to play for the bears nothing but pride .

I'm glad I've gone with the bears far more Everton like than the packers and I don't just mean because they are not very good
Just trying to create some intense rivalries on here. Being around both franchise fan bases quite a bit I can say without a doubt the Packers are much much more Everton like and the Bears are like West Ham (had one or two glories, always talk about them, and now they expect more than they should).

Like I said I only started getting back into NFL a few years ago . I'd spent the previous 15 years getting smashed and following everton and I was too goosed Sunday night to bother watching .

I decided to 'follow' GB on the back of a cold weather game at lambeau and thought it looked boss ( still do it's a proper cathedral of sports)

But I tried to get more invested and found the packer fans online not to my taste . Far too cringey for my liking though I admire that they are fan owned and the size of the town running a franchise.

We are no different to the bears as plenty of us still live of the back of the 80's and cling to our lady cup in 95 . It's the nature of most fans of all teams .

Plus Chicago is a city I like and badly want to go to and let's be fair it's much easier to get to than GB .

I don't hate the packers but the fans online come across as helmets . Same as them weapons on the uk packers podcast

Not sure what the online presence is like for both but on a personal level just feel more connected to the Packers fan base even after having lived in Chicago (granted I made my mind up 22 years ago). Both have that blue collar base but there is more snobby douches in the Bears fan base just due to the economic fortunes of both cities.

Heard BA is expanding the Green Bay airport and making it their American hub.

well I bow to you far superior knowledge mate I can't really argue with someone who lived there . It's the city I want to visit most so when I do I'll ask you for some advice .

Bears 3 up

Packers are Everton.. great history.. people's club.. incredible stadium - and, just like us, a massive propensity to waste our chances - see the last 5 minutes in Chicago.. Only Everton, Only The Pack.

The RS are definitely an NFC East franchise - either the Redskins or Cowboys - hated by everyone except their own..

ViQueens getting royally Villa'd on their own patch. Chance to win the Division or at least make the play-offs and 27-0 down at the half at home!!!
