If the Packers don't ditch Mike McChuckaway (4th and 26) and Domedy Capers pronto we're going absolutely nowhere. The Dalglish of the NFL - time to move on. The Head Office need to take their collective heads out of their asses and realise that we mess up too often. This was a 13-3 schedule and they are nowhere near into the Play offs yet (yes, win out and then it'll be so) but - every time the Pack meet a half decent team - often on the road - in the play-offs it's game over. Last 8 is not good enough. The NFC title game is the minimum requirement frankly in a Conference that they are consistently ranked 1 or 2 at the start of every year.
It's amazing Marvin Lewis still has a job. Cincy was celebrating plays in the first half like they already won. you could see the inevitable collapse coming from an hour away
Gus was a good guy but not a HC. Happy to see him put out of his and our misery. We'll see what's next. Looks like an interim announcement tomorrow, and then who knows. Everybody around here is talking TC, but I'm skeptical. The more I think about it, the more I feel that doesn't seem to be the way Shad rolls. Smitty may come back as the HC if it's up to Caldwell, but who knows about that?
Wins do us no good at this point, sorry to say. Bortles is a basket case by now, so we'll have to see where we're at and move on from there.
Who's peoples picks for the Superbowl?
Patriots look the easy pick. Cowboys look value but can their quarterback perform all the way....Packers at 12-1 and showing form?
Patriots for sure in the AFC. Like you have my doubts on Dallas. Wouldn't rule out Green Bay or the Giants.
NFC is a total tossup. I guess Dallas should be the favorites. Dallas might also get the Giants in the divisionals.
Pats are prohibitive favorites in the AFC. KC matches up well against them and that's just about it.
Dark Horse: Dolphins: 9-1 in the final 10 games. Plus waxed the Steelers (likely 1st round opp) early in the season. Mat Moore is a solid QB.
I'm hopeful that if the packers get past detroit at the weekend, then they could go far, as long as Rodgers stays fit.
