It wouldn't mate, really. Give a Union team 6 months of training though and they'd destroy any NFL team at their own game, and we wouldn't even ask for padding and a breather every 2 minutes.

Sorry mate but the athleticism in rugby just isn't up to it. Take Va'aiga Tuigamala below. He was a top player for both codes but he wouldn't have a sniff at a college team in the US....FFS

You're right. Any union team trying out against a decent college football team should wear the helmets and pads. It would be nasty otherwise.

Some music act I wanted to see was at The Bluebird, but the crowd was out the front door, and we decided to swerve that and slake our thirst at the jock bar across the street. The women's rugby team was celebrating a victory in traditional form, we understand. The capstone of the evening was when six of them spelled out I-N-D-I-A-N-A-R-U-G-B-Y by hanging their bare butts over the edge of the balcony.

One letter per cheek. These were honey badger girls. Impressed, we left the bar and went across the street to enjoy the next set.

Things like that stick in the memory.

That's a great memory. Wish I had that experience. I saw things I can't unsee. One broken nose, one broken ankle, and I'm pretty sure one girl became a lesbian during the game
