I think Rice is done for the year.

Even if another team wanted him and his suspension is lifted, I think he's toxic right now and no one would touch him.

Incognito of the Dolphins was out for a season for bullying so Rice will be out at least that long if not longer.

The whole thing was a complete disgrace. I wasn't happy with the decisions before the latest video. WTF do you have to actually see him hit her before taking the necessary measures? The video of him dragging her out of the elevator was damning enough.

I for one took the high ground and excluded him from all my fantasy drafts.

Check out Olbermann's rant. I hope heads roll.

Yeah...no chance IMO that he comes back. I do find it rather comedic how the NFL handled this whole situation. 2 game suspension...public outcry...new policy of 6 game suspension for first offense. Then today...contract terminated and 'indefinite suspension'. The NFL and Roger Goodell have looked like complete idiots on this one.

Rice may be done...he'll be 28 next year. Not exactly young in the world of running backs.

What would he have got if he had sparked an opponent out and dragged him around? One would have thought it would be more than two games.

Not the first time Goodell and Co. have cocked up. Rice gets two games for sparking his fiancee -- as was noted earlier, the league didn't have to see the punch, the video of Rice dragging her out of the elevator unconscious, plus the domestic violence charges, should have been enough to put 2 and 2 together -- and Josh Gordon of the Browns gets a year for marijuana? Something that is definitely not an performance-enhancing drug and can actually help with the chronic pain a football player can have to cope with? Talk about skewed.
And as a Saints fan, don't get me started on Bountygate. The penalties there were way OTT in a game where plays happen at a speed that makes it nearly impossible to think, 'Oh, here's my chance to put so-and-so on injured reserve.'
