Are you aware of the full Talmudic and rabbinical laws, such as the rabbi biting off the foreskin of a newborn in the circumcision ritual? And that many infant boys contract bacterial infections from the rabbi and die as a consequence?
I am certainly not singling out Judaic practice, but Islam was born of Judaism, in the same way that Christianity took the story of a jewish radical rabbi and turned it into the myth of Christianity. So why are the abhorrent practices spoken of in various sura, such as sura 9, kill the pagans diatribe, why are they more offensive than say in exodus that the death penalty applies to anyone practising 'magic', (magic was the use of herbs, potions, chants and charms, as carried out by pagans, for pagans read polytheists, not monotheists)
Exactly the same charge for the same crime from the same source.
You really have to understand the competition between monotheistic religions for 'customers/believers', it is no different to capitalism, they compete for your money and brand loyalty, offering the same thing and telling you the opposition is cr*p. Buy into that system and you become controlled in what, how and why you think like you do, like they want you to. You have a scapegoat or enemy that threatens your choice, the competition has to be eliminated.
 
Fear and intimidation is an unfortunate inevitably for anyone who publically wishes to denounce aspects of Islam.

That's why so many non Muslims have it subconsciously drilled into them that anyone who questions or criticises it must immediately be a racist or an islamophobe (not even a real word FFS).

Anything above criticism is dangerous and Islam in this country is above it.

Everyone knows there is violence in all religious books. The Quran IS different though. I can't even be arsed explaining why. Scroll up or something. Or even just youtube 'the most important video on Islam'. Breaks it down in bite size chunks for ya x

There is no authentic translated version of Qur'an --- because these are all the part of their strategy or treachery to hide the facts.Truth is Qur'an is the most heinous ideological book ever written in this planet --- at least for a non-muslim.In fact,"Main Campf" is child to it and probably inspired by this book.At a core level, there is no such big difference among Communism, Nazism and Islamic Ideology ---- at least in the eyes of a stupid Indian like me.Please, don't hear anybody --- how great he is, just read the book and decide yourself.

I must apologise, I had been responding based on the fact you were taking a scholarly approach to your viewpoint, not on youtube clips, that would be the Brett Angell approach to debate.
The q'uran, Koran, Torah, Talmud, OT/NT, all of the Abrahamic monotheistic faiths have the same origins, over riding laws and attitudes, priests, genealogical power broking and puppet kings and sultans have maintained the friction between all 3 for many, many years, the reason being, it keeps power and authority in the same hands.
it is achieved by painting non members of a particular club as nasty, threatening, dangerous thieves and violent warmongers. You are but a puppet and a pawn that regurgitates nonsense from a loon on the web. Dear lord (if I had one...)

Islam and sharia law is so far right wing. It really is comical that liberal progressive people stick up for it.
