Rumours are that Whyte and Kenwright are meeting to discuss terms of the deal and I believe if Everton are concrete in their interest then they will sign him. Our financial situation has been well documented and we appear to need the Jelavic money for operating costs.

I had a little laugh at the guy who said he's worth £3m tops, you obviously don't understand what you're watching when you take in a game of football. Jelavic is a very good footballer, he's technical and at his best with his back to goal. Even though he's big he's better with the ball to his feet and he needs a partner to feed off his flicks. He's a good finisher and often scores spectacular goals.

So what its only the SPL? Aye, we know. Jelavic is a Croatian international and definitely has the ability to make the step up to the SPL.

So if we play him up front on his todd he'll be struggle then? I'm sure that's our plan for him.

He's a much better player when he has a partner to work with. He's said before that he doesn't enjoy playing up on his own. If you plan on sending the ball long to him then I don't think you'll see the best of him.

good finisher...yea from the pen spot , comon tell the truth hes a dud 74 goals in 10 years , and hes a lazy boy as for being a croatian international.....he cant get his place on the team hes played 17 games ..2 goals heres his record...2002–2007 Hajduk Split 35 (8)
