The knee jerk reactions to him scoring are pretty nauseous.. he's still very poor. The best this has done is given us a better chance of selling him. He hasnt scored a goal in over what, 20 games? put it this way. is 2 goals in 20 games a good return.. no.
Just think what it would be like if we were losingThe knee jerking on this forum of late is sensational stuff.
I'm illogical for not wanting a player without a PL goal for 9 months to start a game for Everton.
This is Alice in Wonderland stuff.
That match thread is possessed by demons.
Look at the last month and judge it on form.
You're incapable of doing so as you're agenda driven against the guy, but there's no way you can make an argument for Lukaku to be ahead of Jelavic on form alone over the last month, and that's all that matters to me.
Also, these "9 months since a goal" etc. are skewed by the fact he's barely started a game since last season. We're playing an entirely new system with a new manager now.
Here are the facts:
* Lukaku has failed to impress over the last month.
* Jelavic has looked lively off the bench and could have had one or two goals lately.
* Jelavic takes two goals on a start. It doesn't matter what the opposition is, he's took his chance and scored two goals in 90 minutes of football.
Those saying Jelavic doesn't deserve at least a chance in the first team are hating on the guy for the sake of not wanting to be wrong rather than using common sense IMO.
The irony of people pointing to Lukaku's form in November to justify his start yet ignoring his more recent form is amazing. In fact, it's just as amazing as people completely ignoring what Jelavic has done lately and talking exclusively about a year ago.

I reached the bit in bold and couldn't physically stomach reading any further.
You're defo having a laugh.
How soon people forget what's happened since Lukaku came in and at last showed us what a real striker is about.
